The logon process allows authorised personnel to access the Management System and to enter the Design System. The user can belong to one of seven different access levels that will limit access via the menu system to certain parts of the software.

The user interface provides a pull down and icon tool bar menu system allowing the user to select the relevant areas of the management system to execute the design system.

The management system contains a number of dialogs for user to add or edit core date used during the creation or management of project files. This includes such areas as client and contact list, suppliers of material or resources, councis details, work activities to determine the projects bill of work(BOW) value, stock items to determine the projects bill of material(BOM) value.

Events are used throughout the management system to keep track of incidents associated with projects, client and suppliers. An event can have an action to be performed by an authorised user and once the action has been taken, the event can be closed out by the user with detail on the action taken. This is particularly powerful feature as any type of issue can be identified and monitored through to resolution such as warranty claims, process control during production to final inspection etc.

Projects can be schedule to best suit the resource capability and delivery expectations by the client. This is performed either by a bar type graphical interface or from the date entering area under the project parameters. Management and production personnel can enter when work has started and finished so that at any point the project status is known. The information is used for the creation of progress reports issued to clients so that client is aware of expected site delivery and completion dates.

The Management system provides an extensive range of reports including project quotation and work orders to suppliers or internal production departments. Progress reports can also be created as outlined above.

Before any design process can commence, a project record must be created to identify the client, site location and design parameters.

Once this information has been defined the user can then enter the design system whereby the graphical creation of the project is defined and checked against engineering codes if the engineering module is obtained. Once the project has been graphically defined, a quotation can be produced for the client and the manufacturing file produced to the project being approved to build.
